Foot adornment ✨ We can sometimes forget about our feet yet they play such an important role in our lives. Allowing us to ground into the earth, connecting us to root and mycelium systems beneath the earth, all the meridian nerve endings in the bottom of our feet sending signals to the rest of our bodies. The way we take steps forward in life, feeling into which direction we want to go, allowing our feet to carry us to where we are supposed to be. Personal meanings and symbols are staying offline, yet personal stories and prayers are woven into this design, anchored into the skin as a sacred reminder of the steps being taken. I thought to create a little insight into what it means to receive a tattoo from me and what I feel a tattoo ceremony is. I have journeyed with this medicine for a long time and I’m so grateful for this practice, the places it has taken me and the people that I have met. The transformation I have witnessed, the magic and the beauty. It’s funny because when I started this, I never had seen someone else create tattoo ceremonies before, I’m not saying there weren’t others but at the time I’d never come across it. It was 2021 deep in the lockdowns mid winter and the idea dropped into my head from nowhere. I wasn’t feeling great about myself at the time as I had recently quit my job was freelance for the first time and I was at a place where I was recreating my offerings, and this came. I was already tattooing casually for a few years and so i decided to start creating a ritual around it and ritual ink was born! It was super exciting and seemed to be something people wanted! It’s nice to look back, and now things are different I feel a big shift in the tattoo industry where many other artists are intentional with their work, which I feel is good but it has made me question what it is that I offer now. How i want to evolve. Feeling the need to offer an even deeper space for people to journey with me, an evolution of these last 5-7 years. I will be taking fewer bookings this year so I can offer each one more depth, so if you do feel the call get in touch! Much love Natasha

It’s been a little while since posting on here, I’ve taken a huge break from the digital space over the last month, from spending Christmas time with my family in São Paulo to going deep into the Brazilian Amazon rainforest immersing myself in the village of the yawanawa people. I feel very grateful to have had this time here, my motherlands where my maternal ancestral lineage is strong ✨ Coming gently back into this space, and to share more of the artwork and markings that have been created recently as there’s so much to share still that’s just sitting on my camera roll! Sharing this piece that was created last year for the beautiful Sabine, fractals within fractals of the golden ratio, the cosmic order and rhythm of our universe. Knowing we are part of a bigger whole; that we ourselves are fractals of the great mother and divine spirit.
